Hand Wash Preferred: Hand washing is the safest method. Use cold water and a mild detergent. Gently agitate the water and then lightly scrub the tote with a soft cloth or sponge.
Spot Clean: For small stains or spots, you can spot clean the affected area with a mild detergent and water. Avoid soaking the entire bag if only a small area is dirty.
Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use bleach or strong cleaning agents, as these can damage the print and the fabric.
Air Dry: After washing, reshape the bag and lay it flat to air dry. Avoid hanging it to dry, as this can distort the shape. Do not use a dryer, as the heat can damage the print.
Iron with Caution: If the bag is wrinkled, you can iron it on a low setting. Place a thin cloth between the iron and the print to prevent direct contact with the heat.
Turn Inside Out: If you must machine wash, turn the tote bag inside out and use a gentle cycle with cold water. Place it in a mesh laundry bag for extra protection.
